Świętokrzyskie Oncology Center in Kielce
For over 30 years, the Świętokrzyskie Oncology Center in Kielce has combined experience with a modern, interdisciplinary approach to patient care. The hospital's mission is to provide comprehensive support to patients and their families in coping with cancer. Patients here receive full-spectrum oncology care, including inpatient, day, and outpatient services, covering diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and psychological support.

Comprehensive Care and Diagnostics

The ŚCO operates with 14 clinics and 30 specialist outpatient departments. Its diagnostics are conducted in advanced laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. In 2011, the Molecular Diagnostics Department of ŚCO became the first in Poland to be equipped with apparatus necessary for personalized therapy diagnostics, with its research being applied in clinical practice.

A Leader in Personalized Diagnostics and Therapy

Świętokrzyskie Oncology Center is a national leader in Poland in multi-gene testing for therapeutic purposes and in conducting genetically targeted therapy for patients with lung cancer, colorectal cancer, melanoma, hematologic malignancies, HER2-positive breast cancer resistant to treatment, as well as in treating GIST and neuroendocrine tumors. The center houses a Breast Cancer Unit accredited by the World Senology Society, offering comprehensive breast cancer diagnostics and treatment.

Renowned Research and Treatment Facility

ŚCO develops research projects applied in clinical practice, pioneering new pathways in oncology diagnostics and therapy.

  • Gynecology Clinic: Recognized nationally as a research and treatment center, it is a member of the Central European Gynecologic Oncology Group and the European Network for Research on Personalized Treatment of Endometrial Cancer. The clinic conducts laparoscopic workshops for gynecologists across Poland and is among the few in the country equipped with a 3D imaging laparoscopic system and laser technology. It performs advanced laparoscopic procedures using water-jet technology.

  • Endocrinology Clinic: Focuses on research into new diagnostic and treatment methods for thyroid cancer.

  • Otolaryngology, Head, and Neck Surgery Clinic: The only center in Poland to routinely perform simultaneous implantation of voice prostheses for all patients requiring laryngectomy.

  • Urology Clinic: Conducts pioneering laparoscopic procedures and develops new treatment techniques for both cancerous and non-cancerous diseases of the urogenital system.

  • Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation Clinic: Developed a groundbreaking vaccination scheme to improve the immunity of leukemia patients.

Additional Services

ŚCO provides care to patients not only from the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship but also from across Poland. To enhance patient convenience, a call center has been established, allowing for telephone registration at clinics and providing practical information on preparing for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The hospital also publishes "Amicus," a free quarterly magazine for oncology patients.
